My name is Micah Jordan. I am a rising senior at Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC, with a strong commitment to academics. I have earned Honor Roll recognition throughout my high school career and completed Governor's School while also taking multiple AP classes.
I strive to make a meaningful impact through music, drawing on my accomplishments as a trumpeter. As a trumpeter, I have performed at premier events, including the Midwest Clinic and the North Carolina Music Educators Association (NCMEA) Conference. As a top-level musician, I have been selected into the All-District Band, All-Region Jazz Band, All-State Honors Band, All-State Jazz Band, the prestigious Brevard Jazz Institute, and the UNCG Honors Band, among others.
In addition to academics and musicianship, I am an avid swimmer. I have been swimming competitively for a little over two and a half years through both the Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC) Titans of Cary, North Carolina, and my high school team, Panther Creek. I am passionate about swimming and hope to continue at the collegiate level. I am committed, coachable, respectful, sincere, and dedicated to ongoing mental and physical growth. I value teamwork and am committed to personal development in all areas.
Community service is also central to who I am. I volunteer through Titans in Action, extracurricular activities at my school, and my church, New Hope Church in Durham, to make a positive impact on those around me.
